BIOGRAPHY
Colette Taber’s paintings are included in private collections throughout the United States (Los Angeles, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Tampa, Seattle, and the New York Metropolitan Area), as well as abroad (Sfax, Tunisia; Munich, Germany; and Helsinki, Finland). Her extensive travel throughout Western and Eastern Europe and North Africa has influenced both subject matter and the range of her viewing audience. She was born in Maine and currently resides in New York.
Ms. Taber attended the University of Pennsylvania and
graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1995 with a B.A. in Fine Arts and English
Literature from The School of Arts and Sciences. In her studies, she concentrated
on the work of William Blake. Prior to attending the University, she graduated
with honors from The Pinellas County Center for the Arts, St. Petersburg,
Florida.
